I am a counsellor with over twenty years’ experience working with both couples and individuals dealing with such issues as depression, anxiety and loss as well as with various relationship issues.  I am also a sex addiction counsellor.

Having become aware of the problems associated with the increase in availability of pornography over recent years, I have embarked on specialised training and completed a Level 5 Diploma in Sex Addiction Counselling.  This has proved useful for addicts; their partners and the increasing number of young people being affected.

How I work

I know from experience that it can be challenging to place your trust in someone you do not know and to share your issues of online porn addiction or sex addiction with them, especially if counselling is new to you.  I therefore aim to make the process as easy and accessible for you so that you feel safe, comfortable and empowered.  It is important to me that you can talk about your sensitive issues without feeling judged or shamed.

To me each client is an individual requiring a treatment program that is unique to them.  We will jointly find the underlying causes to assist you in finding ways of coping that are better for you.  This in turn will help you to recover, move on and feel more comfortable in your life and to build and maintain happier and healthier relationships.

I provide a professional, non-judgemental and confidential service, with an initial no obligation assessment to allow us to get to know each other and for me to see if I can help you.  My approach is compassionate, positive and practical.  I aim to help you understand your addiction and to see the impact it has on you and those close to you.  We will find ways to manage and ultimately overcome your compulsive behaviours.

As well as working face to face I counsel clients via online platforms such as Skype and Zoom.

My counselling practice is in Radlett, Hertfordshire and is convenient for people living or working near St Albans, Watford, Bushey, Edgware, Stanmore, Barnet, Elstree, Borehamwood, North West London and the surrounding areas.
